About REDARC

Based in South Australia, REDARC has 40 years’ experience in the research, design, development and manufacture of a range of electronic voltage converters and associated products including inverters, power supplies, DC to DC battery chargers and Battery Management Systems, CANBus modules, electric brake controllers, 52mm gauges and customised electronic modules.

REDARC's products are attached to any moving vehicle that uses battery power including cars, boats, rail, trucks, mining equipment, bus and emergency vehicles.

REDARC's goal is to ensure that the REDARC product and service is the benchmark by which the competition is measured.

Electric brake controllers

REDARC manufacture Australia’s favourite trailer brake controller, the Tow-Pro Elite.

The Tow-Pro Elite provides users with the ability to swap between Proportional mode (inertia sensing) for highway driving conditions and User-Controlled mode for off-road driving.

The next-generation Tow-Pro Elite ensures compatibility with all new vehicle technology and features Active Calibration, works with Electric and Electric/Hydraulic trailer brakes, supports 12 or 24 volt vehicle systems and ensures an ADR approved installation. It has also been approved by AL-KO for use with their ESC and DSC systems.

The main enhancements to the upgraded Tow-Pro Elite relate to the size and installation of the user interface (remote head). A change to the shape, length, size and depth of the remote head will allow a quicker and easier installation of the Tow-Pro Elite. It also ensures the remote head will fit into thicker and curved dashes found in European vehicles and trucks.

Battery Management

No matter the battery type, make or profile, REDARC offer a range of battery management and chargers to suit dual battery setups.

REDARC’s Smart Start (SBI) battery isolators prevent your secondary battery draining your main battery, so you can stay out on the road for longer. Microprocessor controlled, this dual battery isolator is designed to protect the start battery from excessive discharge while allowing the auxiliary battery to supply charge to non-essential loads. The dual sensing model can also be used to isolate the start and auxiliary batteries in a system where the auxiliary battery is being charged by another source, such as 4WD solar panels. Not to mention, it features sophisticated fault detection and LED indication to warn the user of faults including over-voltage, voltage drop and excessive current draw conditions.

REDARC’s wide selection of DC to DC battery chargers are designed to keep batteries charged whilst driving and will fully charge auxiliary batteries to a proven 100%.

Compact in size, easy to install and fully sealed - water, dust and vibration are no match for their vehicle battery chargers. Suitable for 12 or 24 volt vehicle systems, REDARC's dual battery chargers work with either standard, voltage alternators or smart alternators.

Take complete control of your auxiliary battery charging with The Manager30 Battery Management System. Ideal for recreational vehicles, caravans, and camper trailers with multiple battery banks, this 30A battery management system is developed with ease of installation in mind. Whether you’re charging Lead Acid, Gel, Calcium, AGM or Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, The Manager30 will always ensure they’re fully charged. With full batteries and a reliable power source, you can go further, have better adventures and even have some of the comforts of home while on the road.

RedVision is a Total Vehicle Management System (TVMS) and is the latest innovation from REDARC which sets an unprecedented level of automation in the recreational vehicle industry by bringing information and control right to the user’s fingertips.

RedVision allows you to control multiple on-board devices, such as turning lights, inverter, water pumps and other loads such as televisions, electric steps and fridges on or off. It also provides you with the ability to monitor water levels, temperatures, energy (battery power) consumption and storage, with the battery information available when used with a REDARC 'Manager' battery management system.

Calculators and product selectors

REDARC have a range of helpful product selection tools to help users find the best product for their needs and setup.

These include solar calculators, dual battery selectors and the recently released virtual product tours to showcase the purpose and interconnectivity of REDARC’s range of power management and towing products.
